Fess Parker's Wine Country Inn
Book This Hotel
Daily breakfasts are included in room rates and served in the inn’s Vintage Room restaurant in the main hotel building. On Thursdays, the Parkers and pianist Bill Powell join guests in the adjacent lamp-lit lobby after dinner for wine and sing-along show tunes from the 1930s and 1940s.
Across the quiet main street is a second hotel building with a courtyard, year-round spa tub, splash pool, and patio.
Hotel guests enjoy complimentary wine tastings at Fess Parker’s Winery & Vineyard, seven miles from the inn on the Foxen Canyon Wine Trail; transportation is available (surcharge). Complimentary tastings are also offered at Epiphany Cellars, operated by Fess’s son Eli; the Epiphany tasting room is two blocks from the hotel. Guests can purchase wine and accessories in the tasting rooms or at the inn.
In a quiet cottage one block away, the inn’s Spa Vigne offers relaxing body treatments with a vineyard theme. Treatment such as the Vintner’s Harvest facial and Harvest Crush body scrub change seasonally; a variety of massages, wraps, aromatherapy treatments, nail care, and waxes are offered year-round.
Meeting and event facilities at the inn include three private rooms, the largest of which holds 100 for a reception. A verandah, and the garden patio can be reserved for meetings, banquets, or wedding receptions; catering is available. In addition, the lower-level wine cellar has a fireplace, rustic wood table, chairs with mauve- and green-patterned upholstery, and walls covered with rows of wine bottles and classic movie posters.
Front-desk staff make copies and send faxes for guests on request (surcharge). Note: cell phone reception in the area is sometimes unreliable. Nightly turndown service includes homemade oatmeal-raisin cookies.
